Drama Queen gets a BooBoo

Ella has discovered a few new "tricks". She likes to climb up the arms of the couch and jump to the chair and then to the ground. She is told every time not to do it again but the second our backs are turned she is leaping again. The other night she slipped, missed the chair completely and landed face first on the ground. She got a small rug burn mark on her chin and was very dramatic about it. She wanted a band-aid, Buzz Lightyear jammies, juice, a blankie , and a movie. She sure knows how to get what she wants out of us.

Cousins

Ella got to meet one of her cousins from Elliott's side of the family. She enjoyed meeting Weston and they had fun playing together.

Thanksgiving

We drove down to Oceanside to Kelly Jo and Gavin's. The car ride was exhausting for these two...

We cooked and baked and prepared lots of yummy foods.

We hung out and relaxed. Love my family.

Turkey Trot

Thanksgiving morning started early for us. Ella was not happy about that.

My girlfriends and I ran a 5K turkey trot in San Jacinto.



Angela made us all these festive matching shirts.

Such a great way to start out the day. It was a BLAST!!!

Rodeo Roundup

Ella's best friend Lizzie had a RODEO themed birthday party. Ella was so excited to get all dressed up to go to the big event.

I thought I would try out the western wear too and join in on the fun.

The kids all took turns riding this huge horse.

Other activities included vest making, pin the tail on the horse, shoot-out, and snake in the grass. There was also face painting that all of the kids LOVED.


Ella devoured the yummy cupcakes.

Toy Story 3 + Pizza = Party at The Lingo's

I reserved our copy of Toy Story 3 from RedBox the morning it came out. Ella was very excited but I made her wait until Elliott got home from work so we could watch it together as a family. We planned a homemade pizza night and once I had the crust ready, Ella took over.

She took her pizza making duty very seriously and I think she made a perfct little pizza.

Once it was ready, it was time for us to gather around in front of the t.v. and watch Toy Story 3. Such a fun family night.


Ella LOVED the movie so much that she is going to ask Santa to bring it to her for Christmas. I bet she gets it too. :)

Ella LOVES going to see Grammie so she can swing on the porch with her and Maxx.

Ella also LOVES going to Walmart so she can ride on the electric cart with Grammie.

Under the Knife...

My brave husband went in for surgery today. Just a quick outpatient procedure that he put off for about 4 years. It all went well, except for the part where I couldn't sleep the night before and I was a stressed out zOmBiE all day.

Thanks to my parents and my friend Katrina for taking care of Ella all day.
Thanks to my sisters for texting me the entire time I was in the waiting room calming my paranoia.

Too exhausted to shop...

Party Animal

Ella got invited to a birthday party. She loved it!!!

The birthday girl, Angel, had a princess bounce house and the kids LOVED it!!



The party was at a huge park in Hemet. The kids had tons of fun swinging and sliding as well.
