My friend Katrina is a craft goddess. She has inspired me to become more craft-loving and encouraged me to get crafty just in time for some Christmas gift giving.
I made this cute little gem for Ella's room.
It will go perfect with her new pink princess bedroom set.
I also made this scripture block for my sister Kelly Jo and her new hubby Gavin.
I think they loved it?!?!?
I know Katrina has lots of crafty knowledge and I intend to use it! :)
I have 283 pictures on my new memory card on my camera. I say it is new because I just got it on Black Friday. Which would mean that I have taken 283 pictures in 4 weeks. WOW!
Here are some of Ella in her pretty Holiday dress.
Actually we had NO place to hang our stockings so I had to get a little crafty. I had Elliott bring a piece of wood home from work and cut it. Then I wrapped it in Christmas paper and with some ribbon, a few nails, and some glue...
We decided to make a Christmas Tradition out of Elliott's birthday. We thought that Dec 9th would be a good day every year to bring home and decorate our Christmas Tree, and so that is what we did..
We headed out in the freezing cold to pick out our tree.
Ella had such a great time hanging all of the ornaments.
Thank goodness for shatter proof ornaments!
When Elliott got down to put water in the tree stand, Ella got down with him to see what he was doing. She ALWAYS wants to do whatever Dada does.
It was a fun night and I am excited for OUR first family tradition.
I found this really cute ornament making kit at Rite Aid for $1.00. I thought it would be a fun craft for Ella to help me out with. We added cute pictures of Ella to the ornaments and they turned out sooooo cute!
I just LOVE doing all these little holiday crafts with my sweet little Ella. She is growing up so fast and I am just enjoying every second of everyday.
